Wheel Throwing Classes

All of the wheel classes meet once a week - on the same day at the same time each week.

Have you dreamed of being Demi Moore in Ghost?  Well, we don't have Patrick Swayze, but we still have loads of fun!

 

Beginning Wheel Classes:

​

Skill Level: Beginner 
This class is for adults who have either very little or no experience on the wheel.  The fee includes 6 weeks of classes, one day/night per week for 2 hours, all firings and glazes.  In this class you'll learn the basics of wheel throwing, including cylinders, bowls, mugs, and plates. Fee: $230 + approx $35 one time for supplies

Intermediate & Advanced Wheel Classes:

Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced

If you've had some experience on the wheel, this is the class for you! The fee includes 6 weeks of classes, once per week for 2 hours, all firings and glazes.  We'll expand on the basics you've already learned and learn additional skills, depending on student interests.  Some options are one piece boxes, pots with lids, vases, bottles, double wall pieces, sgraffito, using sodium silicate, teapots, etc.  Fee:  $230 + clay

Try Pottery on the Wheel!

Curious about pottery but not ready for a full commitment? Join us for a 2-hour introductory session where you'll create 1-3 unique pieces!

What to Expect:

• Hands-on Experience: Spend two hours on the wheel with a skilled instructor guiding you along the way.

• Firing and Glazing: We’ll trim, glaze and fire your pieces (you choose the glaze).

• Ready in 3 Weeks: Your creations will be ready for pickup!

Private Group Try It Sessions:

Looking for a special experience just for your group? We offer private classes for groups—perfect for your crew of friends, work team building or a birthday party, for $95 per person. Give us a call today to coordinate a date with us.

Private One on One Class

We offer private, one to one classes for those wanting focused assistance learning to throw or improving your skills for $60 per hour. Please call us to set up a session. 
 

Kids' Handbuilding Class:

Skill Level: All Levels
For young people ages 8-15, this is the perfect way to let them express their creativity in clay.  The fee includes glazes and firings. You'll handbuild your creations in clay during a class that lasts one hour. You can make your piece look just like the instructor's, or even better you can let your creative juices flow and make your own design. We'll work together to come up with the perfect design/color for you!  
Fee: $25 per one hour session, plus clay starting at your second class
